They are still called glasses .......................i think
They are called bifocals. This means that there's two different prescriptions on the same lens.
When you say "glasses", it is plural. A "glass" is one of the lenses. "Glasses" would refer to both of the lenses, and a "pair of glasses" doesn't mention anything about the frame, but it mentions the two lenses. The frame is the object that joins the two lenses so you don't have to wear contacts and so it can stay on your head. When you say "a pair of glasses", you are referring to the "pair of lenses", not the frame. The frame holding the two lenses makes us think that it is one object, when the word "glasses" refers only to the lenses, not the frame. That is why it is called "a pair of glasses".
A two dimensional shape with six sides, such as the lens for Jim's glasses, is called a hexagon. Another common example of a hexagon is a stop sign.

Obviously the glasses. Contact lenses will protect only the retina of the eye. Rest of the eye is exposed to the dust particles. You should use the glasses which will not allow entry of the dust particles in the eyes. So called bikers glasses. But it is better to have any type of glasses than none.
Shutter Shades
There is no official name, but glasses that serve no function to aid in sight are generally called "vanity glasses." Vanity glasses are sold in a variety of fashion stores, like Hot Topic and Urban Outfitters. They tend to be sold with clear lenses to look "real." You can pop the lenses out if you don't want them. It is also common for people to take the 3D glasses that are given out at movie theaters, pop the lenses out, and wear them like that.
