In animal cells, mitochondria convert glucose, or sugars, into ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate), which is used to create energy for the cell. In plant cells, a similar job is performed by the chloroplasts.
Eukaryotic cells have Mitochondria which transfer glucose (the sugar) into ATP via oxidative phosphorylation, which releases energy into the cell.

simple sugars are the sugars that are bad for the body and then the double are the sugars that are twice as bad and takes out more energy during the breakdown of the body . complex sugars are pretty self explanatory . :D Also, simple sugars are sugars that the body can use directly, while complex sugars take along time to be broken down.
Chloroplasts are organelles found in plant cells. Chloroplasts capture light energy and converts it into chemical energy through the process of photosynthesis.
Monosaccharides are simple sugars. They are carbohydrates and one class of carbs is simple sugars and the 2 parts of simple sugars are mono- and di- saccharides
it is the mitochondria organella
Your body uses simple sugars to give you energy. The organelles called mitochondria do this job. They are called the power houses of the cell and therefore body.

mitochondria
The organelle that releases stored energy which comes mostly from sugars is the mitochondrion. It is called the powerhouse of a cell.
