What causes my feet to tingle and I lose my balance when I stand up from a sitting down position?

when you were sitting, your legs' blood flow was being cut off b/c the circulation wasn't working as well (= your feet "fell asleep"). feeling like you are losing your balance is just your body readjusting to a new position. your fluid in your ears is being stabalized again. basically, to avoid this, get up slowly, not quickly

Define physical balance?

It usually means that nothing is moving. That allows you to use the equation Sum of Forces =0 in any direction, usually divided into horizontal (x) and vertical (y) components. Then you can total up all the forces in each direction and solve for the missing force. Also, because the system is not rotating, you can use the Sum of Moments =0. Then you can total the moments and find the unknown one. Doing so often allows you to find an unknown force

Why is pH important to the maintenance of homeostasis in the body?

Homeostasis keeps the balance in your internal environment. Maintaining homeostasis in the body is done through three vital organs; the kidneys, liver and brain. These regulate the temperature, iron content in our blood, retention and production of energy and overall blood composition. The pH is important because it measures the acidity or basicity of a solution, in which the homeostasis can do its job of maintaining the balance of your internal environment. When a pH level is high or low is a solution it then causes and reaction in which the homeostasis has to balance out.
