Well, when you have a fever, also known as a high temperature, that is your body killIng the infections, the reason it does this is because bacteria have a very limited temperature range that they can live in so if the body "cranks up" the heat, it is actually raising your core temperature to bringit out of the bacterias temperature range, thus killing it

White blood cells (Leukocytes) are split into two sections. Specific and Non-Specific.

Non-specific white blood cells such as macrophages absorb and destroy any antigens (foreign substances) found in the body by releasing enzymes onto them. Once this antigen is destroyed proteins specific to that antigen become implanted in the macrophage. The macrophage then displays these specific proteins to B-cells and T-cells

A each B-Cell will have the ability to combat infections which involve that a specific protein (many different pathogens will have the at least one similar protein). B-cells programmed to combat the proteins displayed will begin to divide by mitosis (replicating itself). The B-cells will then travel in the blood stream to the site of infection.

The T-Cells mentioned earlier are activated by the macrophages displaying the proteins. The T-Cells then divide into Killer T-Cells, Helper T-Cells, Surpressor T-Cells and Memory T-Cells

Killer T-Cells Seek and destroy targeted antigen

Helper T-Cells activate B-cells similarly to the macrophages by displaying proteins

Memory T-Cells remain in the body to act if the infection is to come again

Surpressor T-Cells slow down the immune response once infection is dealt with

Thanks, hope this helps

Cells called Lymphocytes (Immune system cells) attack the unknown bacteria with naturally produces chemicals and hormones.

Than B and T cells record and memorize what chemicals were successful in killing the bacteria.

Your immune system needs antioxidants to stay healthy so for some tips on how to keep your immune system on track eat lots of vitamin c.
