It is probably just old blood (in other words, a bruise) from where you banged your toe at some point. It will go away as your toenail grows out. It is not dangerous at all.

∙ 14y agoIt probably means you dropped something heavy on them. The black stuff is clotted blood. Your toenails might or might not fall off, but if they do they'll grow back. I think. Good luck!
