First, it must be understood that there are only two possible eye colors: blue and brown. All other shades are combinations of these two.
Individual eye color is a matter of pure genetics. There are some chemicals that can darken or lighten eye pigmentation, and some are used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, but the actual occurrences of this is not common.
That all being said, eye color has no "meaning" at all. It is what it is. If you are born with brown eyes, it simply means that one or both of your parents possessed the brown eye gene. If you are born with blue eyes, it means that one or both of your parents possessed the blue eye gene.
Nothing more.
It likely means that your eyes are hazel, as hazel eyes can appear to contain a mixture of blue, green, and brown colors.
Eye color is dictated by your genes, having hybrid brown means that your genes are Bb (i think eye color is the letter b) or whatever letter it is. It just means that either 1)one of your parents has brown eyes and the other has blue eyes or 2)both have brown eyes and their parents were in the first situation
50% BROWN0% GREEN50% BLUEThe brown gene is dominant but if it also carries a recessive blue gene then they can have a blue eyes babyAnswerSince brown is a dominant gene and blue is the recessive gene, the child will usually have brown eyes. My father had brown eyes and my mother had blue eyes. They had three children: two brown eyes and me a blue green or as some call it grey eyed child. Then my brown eyed sister had a child with a blue eyed man and their son had blue eyes. So you really need to check to see if the brown eyed person has a brown or blue eyed parents. If one parent has blue eyes then yes it would be possible to have a blue eyed child. So the answer may lie with the Grandparents of the brown eyed person having the child. Check to see if one has blue eyes. Hope this wasn't to confusing. You can definitly can have green eyes when one parent has blue eyes and the other has brown. My Mother has brown eyes and my Father has blue eyes and i have green eyes and my twin sister has green eyes and he is definity our father. My brother has blue eyes though.
brown is dominate usually but black is the most dominate color. (Brown is stronger than green, blue an hazle eyes) and for hair it goes black, brown, red, blonde i believe. the following goes for hair but i explained as the eye partbut that doesn't mean your child will have brown eyes just cause you do. if you 'carry' any other eye color as a recessive gene (ie: one of your parents or grand parents had a different color than brown) you could pass that gene and he could pass the greenmy mom had brown hazel eyes and my dad had dark browni have blue/gold hazeli have grandparents on both side that had blue eyes so i believe my mom gave me her recessive hazel trait that causes colors to mix and my dad must have carried a recessive blue gene.if you're a dark skin tone it's more likely you won't carry a color besides brown in your genes but it's always possible- BarbiPiXi

Yes, as eye color includes family history too, though your method may work coincidentally or instead of what I said! Yes they can.. Both my parents have black hair and dark brown eyes.. and i have light blonde hair and blue eyes..!! I mean... yes. My parents have green eyes, and blonde hair, yet I have DARK, DARK brown hair and grey eyes! Pretty sure, my mum has red hair with brown eyes, dad green eyes with brown hair. I however have blonde hair and grey eyes!! And my siblings all vary too. My parents have brown eyes and black hair while I have green eyes and blonde hair, although I have eight siblings all with black hair and brown eyes so it's not really common.
Sure you don't mean heterozygous dominant? If you don't there would be no blue eyed offspring. Let's assume you meant heterozygous dominant.B = brownbl = blueBbl X Bbl1/4 of the offspring would have blue eyes, 25%.
