For me, when I eat a smoked meat sandwich or hot dog, I am within hours, overcome with extreme sleepiness, to the point where I MUST lay down and go into a deep sleep. Then I'm left with a sluggish tired feeling. I am trying to find out the whys of this, as it affects me so profoundly. Simple answer is stay away from these foods but WHY does this happen? can anyone help answer this and should I further have testing done?
