For a person who was asked to describe/differentiate split pictures, when the corpus callosum of his is cut, he could speak or describe what he has seen in his right eye because speech is located in the left part of the brain, but if he was asked to visually point what he was saying, he will point out what his left eye saw, even though it's different from his topic, because his visualization is located in his right brain.

The corpus callosum serves as the major communication lane between the left and right halves of the brain. Because the removal of the corpus callosum is used to treat epilepsy, the effects have been observed. Some patients have a brief period of muteness, and sometimes this removal prevents the patient from spontaneous speech.
