In Scotland the agriculture varies. The terrain is mostly mountains, forests, and big open fields. A popular grown plant in Scotland is the national flower, the Thistle. We also grow, barley, oats, rape, cauliflower, broccoli, raspberries, etc.

Many farmers have sheep that graze their fields. In the summer, the sheep are usually sheared in preparation for winter. By the time winter arrives the sheep's wool has already grown back. Farmers also have Cattle and cows that they let openly graze with the sheep.

If you know what Haggis is then you must know where the sheep come in handy for some people. For those of you who don't know, Haggis is a Sheep's stomach stuffed with, diced liver and kidney, along with vegetables and seasoning.

If you are interested in fishing, then yes we have a lot of that on the coast. Our main fish dishes are Salmon, Cod, Haddock, and Prawns. This is one of the reasons fish and chips is so popular in Scotland and England.

I hope this helps
