A cilium (plural is cilia) is an organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Cilia are slender protuberances that project from the much larger cell body.
There are two types of cilia: motile cilia and non-motile, or primary cilia, which typically serve as sensory organelles
A Celia is a hair like structure, similar to a flagella. The difference is, however, that Celia are short hairs all around a cell. These structures also help with conjugation. One hair grows out and forms a tube that attaches to another cell (the same species) and the two cells exchange DNA. Thus making the daughter cell from binary fission have more unique DNA than if it happened without conjugation.
It is actually spelt cilia cell and its a lung cell.
In plant cells, a cell membrane and a cell wall surround the cell to aid in support and protection. In animal cells, only a cell membrane surrounds the cell and controls what substances go in and go out of the cell.
A cell with no cell wall, just a cell membrane. Such as an animal cell.
along the cell membrane in the plant cell there is no cell wall in a plant cell
In an animal cell, it is the cell membrane and in a plant cell, it is the cell wall.
The selective permeability of the cell membrane
Celia does not have a structure. It is the only cell part that does not have a structure.
