Quick control NRV is generally a non return valve that has a special mechanism of closing quickly during emergency situations. It has a quicker response than a normal NRV. It is used in places of extreme caution where the downstream fluid should not by any chance return to the equipment concerned. For example it is used downstream a turbine bleed line to prevent high pressure steam from backing into the turbine.
Yes, a check valve and a non-return valve are the same thing. They are designed to allow fluid or gas to flow in one direction only and prevent reverse flow.
No, capillaries do not have non-return valves. Non-return valves are found in veins to prevent blood from flowing backwards. Capillaries function to allow the exchange of nutrients and waste products between blood and tissues.
It depends. If you're a right-handed person the right side would control non-verbal communication; while the left side would control verbal communication. If you're a left handed person you're left side would control your non-verbal communication while your right side would control verbal communication.
The aortic semilunar valve is composed of three cusps - the left, right, and non-coronary cusps. These cusps help regulate blood flow by opening and closing to allow blood to flow from the left ventricle into the aorta.
A boomerang that does not return after being thrown is typically referred to as a "non-returning boomerang." These types of boomerangs are designed to be thrown in a straight line for distance rather than circling back to the thrower.
ON a Hansgrohe do u fit a non return valve with a diverter with hand shower
shut down non return valve

it allows flow only on one side... the return path (opposite flow ) not possible..

Bicycles with inflatable tires usually have one non-return valve for each tube/tire. Bicycles with air-sprung suspension will have one for each shock.
it allows the water to flow in only one direction.
non-return check valve
Screw down non return valves only allow a liquid to be passed one way through it. Even when the valve is in open position valve lid is on the seat unless any liquid is pressurized from its inlet side.Any back flow will be restricted.
A non return valve is used mainly on fluid pipe, which uses gravity and the fluid to close it. A check valve is normally spring loaded to ensure a positive seal and will need a greater delta P to open. Also check valves are normally used with gas.

There should be a non return valve on the cold water side of the hot water tank. When there is no non return valve the water in the tank heats up and expansion of the water will cause it to travel backward up the cold water pipe thereby equalising the waterpressure normally this expansion would find its way out of the safety pressure valve. So it sounds like the non return valve needs fitting or replacing.
