There are no reasonable scientific alternatives to cell evolution, especially since the endosymbiotic theory is now widely accepted.
I an sure you can think of some unreasonable alternative to cell evolution.
Evolution is the change in allele frequency over time in a population of organisms. Cells could be though as organisms is unicellular especially.
The reasonable evaluations of evolution in humans today suggest that genetic variations and natural selection continue to shape our species over time. Scientists study factors such as adaptation, genetic drift, and gene flow to understand how humans have evolved and continue to evolve. This ongoing process of evolution helps us better understand the diversity and complexity of the human species.
Endosymbiosis is the process where one organism lives inside another. In the evolution of eukaryotes, it is believed that a prokaryotic cell engulfed a smaller prokaryotic cell, forming a symbiotic relationship. This led to the development of organelles like mitochondria. Mitochondria are crucial in eukaryotic evolution because they produce energy for the cell through respiration, allowing for more complex cellular functions to evolve.
The evolution of cell membranes involved the development of phospholipid bilayers to create a barrier between the cell's interior and its environment. This allowed for the separation of internal cell processes from the external environment, contributing to the complexity and specialization of cells over time.
Cells are the base unit of living organisms. At the beginning of life, the first organisms must have been single cells like today's bacteria. All organisms have evolved from that simplest prokaryotic cell, and from unicellular, multicellular organisms evolved. Also, all of biochemistry changes with Natural Selection, as does genetics. The biochemistry of the cell and cell differentiation has evolved. Photosynthetic cells, immune cells, nervous cells.... All have evolved with the higher organisms and have given them their identities of having neurological systems, immune systems or the ability to photosynthesise. Since life's basic unit is the cell, the basic unit of evolution (of the phenotype) is indeed largely the cell too. From zygote develops organism within the constraints of that species' evolution, cell by cell by cell by differentiated cell.
An alternative to the cell wall is the cell membrane. While the cell wall provides structural support and protection in plant cells, the cell membrane controls the movement of materials in and out of the cell in both plant and animal cells.

What reasonable estimate for the size of a cell's nucleus?
Darwin's original theory was formulated over 150 years ago. The modern theory of evolution, while still basically the same as Darwin's, is also significantly different. In either case, there is no scientific alternative to the origin of biodiversity. This is equivalent to how there is no scientific alternative to Atomic Theory.

Cell theory does not contradict evolution. Cell theory states that all living organisms are composed of cells, while evolution explains how these cells and organisms change over time through the process of natural selection. Both concepts are supported by scientific evidence and are compatible with each other.
Sir Arthur Keith who believes in evolution said, "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it ONLY because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable."
cell differentiation
Cell mutation
cell differentiation
It does not. Cell theory is fully compatible with evolutionary theory. Does this mean we know everything about the evolution of cells? No. We say we do not know, not that cell theory shows that evolutionary theory is incorrect. ( except, of course, if you are referring to heritability. This Darwin got wrong, but this is not directly related to cell theory )
