many things cyanide, cyanide compounds, heavy metals, radioactive material, inert gases such as nitrogen causes asphixia, hydrogen sulphide, clorine, hydrogen chloride, phosphine, phosgene, bacteria or other living things may take up resources.
Heaps more
Here are a few off the top of my head.
Br2, bromine. Very harmful to aquatic life, and fatal if inhaled
Conc phosphoric acid, very corrosive
Chloroform, suspected carcinogen (there are much worse ones)
Dimethyl formamide This is a mutagenArsenic is an excellent example of something that is harmful. Harmful means that it can hurt or potentially kill you.
An example of harmful is something that hurts, or does damage?
Bacteria infecting a cut.
Well, you can think of bacteria. Many cause diseases. For example, 2 bacteria that damage the stomach is Heliobacter Pylori and E.Coli.
Only some bacteria is harmful. The ones that are are the ones that give us diseases.
No! They are just as kind and gentle as regular people - in fact they ARE regular people. There is certainly no specific DS characteristic for 'harmful' behaviour. The question itself is a bit silly. Can ANY child be harmful? Of course they can, especially when they are brought up by parents who are 'harmful' or disfunctional. However, I would suggest that parents who a caring and stable enough to raise a disabled child are rarely 'harmful' people, so DS chaildren are rarely harmful, but tend to be loving and caring. That is my experience. They aren't as smart as normal people, and MAY have trouble recognising context. So things that may be acceptable in one place (hugging Mum & Dad for example) may be inappropriately applied in another (hugging people they meet).
a mutation is sometimes a form of adaptation, but if something changes in the DNA of the species and could possibly be harmful to it, that is a harmful mutation.Examples:-born without a part of the brain-cancer is a form of a harmful mutation-hypoglycemia
Zygomycetes are harmful to humans and other living things. Zygomycetes are fungi and an example of this is mold which is harmful when it gets into the lungs.
For example hazardous.
Other than what?
centipede,milipede,crokroaches
Frostbite would be an example of a harmful effect of being in the cold for to long or misusing a product that can create freezing or below temperatures.
Nitrogen dioxide.
because it is natural
Flies can have various harmful effects on humans. For example, they may give birth to maggots in food and contaminate it.
Bacteria infecting a cut.
There are many products of an organism that destroys or weakens harmful microorganisms. This could be an enzyme for example.
mould is a helpful one and bacteria is a harmful one
There is not one "most harmful disease". In fact, there are lists of "harmful" diseases that can kill anyone at any time (example: kidney disease, heart disease), or can take years to kill.
