Moringa Oleifera is the Scientific name of Malungay. But it was known to be the Miracle Plant because of its nutrient content than any other plants. For example, it has more potassium than Banana, It has more Vitamin C than Orange. Name other healthy fruits and vegetables but Malungay still won based on its content.
In Tagalog, malunggay leaves are called "dahon ng malunggay."
