gound: a watery discharge from the mucous membranes especially of the eyes or nose
It is called gound. It's just the residue left from tears that have dried up over night, the water from the tears evaporates but the other constituents of the tears don't. Tears keep the eye lubricated all the time.

What causes the crust that is in the corner of the eye when you wake up?

The crust that forms in the corner of the eye when you wake up is typically a combination of dried tears, mucus, skin cells, and other debris. During sleep, less blinking and tear production allows these substances to accumulate and dry out, leading to the formation of crusty deposits commonly known as eye boogers or rheum.

Why do humans get gunk in the eye?

people get junk in their eye simply due to a lack of opening them. when you wake up, you have the junk in your eye because your tear ducts secrete a solution. without the eyes open to get rid of the liquid, or to dry it out, the liquid stays in, or seeps out of the eye. It then hardens into that crust, or junk.

Why do alarms have the ability to wake us up from sleep?

Alarms are designed to wake us up from sleep by producing a loud and jarring sound that stimulates our brain and disrupts our sleep cycle, making it easier for us to wake up. This helps us to be more alert and responsive when we need to get up at a specific time.

Why is my voice deeper when I wake up?
