Depending on the size of the clot, and whether or not the entire artery is blocked, the pain can be severe with or without any motion in the leg. Usually any motion causing a need for increase blood flow will worsen the pain if the tissue is only partially starved for blood. There is usually swelling as well. This is not something you should try to treat at home!

O blood type is universal becuase anybody can take it whether you are O, A, B, or AB. O mixes with anything and does not coagulate. If you are an O blood type, you may not receive any other blood type or your blood will clot.
Theres AB blood, B blood, A blood and O blood. O blood is considered a universal donnor because it has no specific code thing to it, so other blood types dont clot to it. If you mix other blood types together, you get blood clots and you can die. For example, mixing A blood with B blood will cause a blood clot. Hope this is helpful!

There are two different types of blood clots, venous and arterial. The symptoms of venous clots most often occur in the arms and legs, and they include swelling, warmth, redness, and pain. The symptoms of arterial clots include pain or oxygen deprivation, loss of certain bodily functions depending on the location of the clot, paralysis and possible loss of color in the effected area, and possible bloody diarrhea.
