Essentially, it is the interneuron. The body has numerous sensory receptors. The sensory receptors are stimulated an send their signal to the central nervous system and synapse or connect with an interneuron which is the processing center. The interneuron then synapses or connects with the motor neuron which sends a message/instruction by way of the motor neuron to skeletal muscle, smooth muscle, cardiac muscles, or glands. This is true, but to add more information, the Interneuron is also known as "relay neuron", "association neuron" or "local circuit neuron".

How are motor and sensory neurons categorized?

Motor Neuron and Sensory Neuron

Sensory neuron is to motor neuron as?

Sensory neuron is to motor neuron...as feedback system is to control system. The motor neurons send signals from the brain to control the body. The sensory neurons send signals from the body back to the brain.

What connects the motor neurons to the sensory neurons?

What connects sensory and motor neuron is the impulse called interneuron or connector neuron are connected by means of electrical impulse called synape from sensory to motor neuron.

Structure that carries messages between the brain snd other parts of the body?

The Neuron, and in this case, a motor neuron or a sensory neuron.

What is the pathway of an impulse in a reflex arc?

Sensory receptor, sensory neuron, interneuron, motor neuron, and muscle.

What is the name of a neuron that transmits neural impulse from the sensory neuron to the motor neuron?

A relay neurone passes impulses from a sensory neurone to a motor neurone.

What is a neuron that serves as links between the sensory neurons and the motor neurons?

interneuron

What completes pathway between sensory neuron and motor neuron?

i think it was interneuron coz I saw it on one of my books in biology.

Which neuron receives information?

actually we must say all neurons receive information. there are three types of neurons: 1.sensory neuron 2.motor neuron 3.relay neuron the sensory neurons receive information from receptor cells in sense organs and pass the information from sensory neuron to the other and pass the info to spinal cord where they are received by relay neuron. this neuron in turn passes the info to motor neurons which pass the info to cells in effectors and action is performed.relay neurons are messengers between sensory neuron and motor neuron in spinal cord.
