Cartilage keeps bones from rubbing together and provides a smooth surface for movement at the joints
The fibrocartilage pad between the bones that form the knee is called the meniscus. It acts as a cushion, helps with load-bearing, and provides stability to the knee joint. Injuries to the meniscus can result in pain, swelling, and limited range of motion in the knee.
These are types of functions of the joints. The amphiathrotic joint is slightly moveable, the joints between the vertebra for example. The synathrotic joint is immovable, the sutures of the skull for example.
The two hip bones are joined at the anterior junction by a cartilaginous joint called the pubic symphysis. This joint allows for slight movement between the two hip bones and provides stability to the pelvis.
Cartilage
The intervertebral joints belong to the structural group known as cartilaginous joints. Specifically, they are classified as symphyses, which are characterized by a pad of fibrocartilage that provides support and allows for limited movement between the vertebrae. This arrangement helps absorb shock and maintain spinal flexibility.

The circle is creatively called the Circle Pad. It's basically a more ergonomically designed version of the PSP's analog pad, or in other words functions as a flatter analog stick. It allows for 360 degree movement in games, since it can move in all directions.
Intra- means between, vertebr- means vertebrae and -al means pertaining to. All together it means pertaining to between the vertebrae. Most likely it refers to a pad or disc or space that is found between the backbones.
Laser technology is not used to mend bones. The laser is used to separate tissue, much like a scalpel would. The spine is a column of vertebrae stacked one atop the other with a cartilagenous pad in between each one. If a vertebra is broken, it has severe consequences with regard to the spinal cord that runs down through the entire column of vertebrae. This is why breaking your back or neck is such a terrible injury. It cannot be fixed with laser, and often cannot be fixed at all. Vertebrae are very small and if they separate or are crushed, there are limited treatments.
A slug has no backbone i thinkFrogappleSlug and snails but I'm not sure what its technical term is
In the Chip design flow to estimate the Chip Die size (means area ) how much is needed , could be pad limited or core-limited. After performing the padring of the chip(arranging of pads/pins), the scenario is such that the core area(logic area) is less then the die or chip is called as pad limited or pin limited design whereas if the core area or logic area of the chip is more than the pad area then the die-size of the chip is core-limited.
What an ordeal. If it is something such as a charlie horse, you should apply an ice pack for 10 minutes and then a heating pad. The ice allows it to contract and the heating pad allows the muscles to release.
The joint between the skull (occipital bone) and first vertebrae (atlas) is a condyloid joint (the condyles are on the occipital bone). This joint allows your head to lean forward and backward. The joint between the first vertebrae and second vertebrae (axis) is a pivot joint, which allows you to turn your head to look left or look right. (The pivot is the dens of the axis.) The other intervertebral joints I do not think fall into a clear classification, although whatever text you are using might try to put them into one category or the other for illustrative purposes. The whole column is basically held together by many ligaments, with discs between each vertebrae, which allows for a wide range of motion. The sacral and coccygeal joints, however, are fused.
When the cartilage disc between two vertebrae breaks and the inner pad (nucleus pulposus) slips out, it can result in a herniated disc. This can lead to compression of nearby nerves, causing pain, numbness, or weakness in the affected area. Treatment may include rest, physical therapy, medications, or in severe cases, surgery.
The I-pad is NOT a laptop it is a portable device which allows you to play on apps and use it as a mp3 player.
