Daughter cells are actually the product of mitosis. There are two cells made by one cell that has gone through mitosis. Daughter cells are found at the final stages of mitosis, they will then probably go through mitosis themselves and produce two more cells.

What are the three stages of the cell cycle?

The three stages of the cell cycle are interphase mitosis and cytokinesis. Interphase is when the cell grows and get all the nutrients that it need for mitosis, and replicates the DNA. Mitosis is when the cell divides into two daughter cells. Finally cytokinesis when the cells are completely separated.

What do mitosis and cytokinesis produce?

Each cycle of mitosis produces 2 daughter cells from 1 parent cell. Cytokinesis is the final stage in each cycle, where a cleavage burrow is formed and the cell splits into two identical daughter cells.

How do the daughter cells at the end of mitosis and cytokinesis with their parent cell when it was in G1 of the cell cycle?

They are identical with same number of chromosome to the parent cell

How does cytokinesis play an important role in the cell cycle?

Cytokinesis takes place after meiosis I and II or mitosis where cell division takes place and divides the cell into two daughter cells.

The importance of mitosis and cytokinesis in the life cycle of a eukaryotic cell?

Mitosis is the division of the nucleus of a cell. Cytokinesis is the division of the cytoplasm of a cell to create two separate cells. In order for cells to divide to form daughter cells both processes are needed. Mitosis occurs creating two genetically identical nuclei and cytokinesis completes cell division resulting in the two genetically identical eukaryotic cells. One of the nuclei is in each cell.

What phase of cells cycle are the types of cycle in your body?

mitosis - interphase - prophase - metaphase - anaphase - telophase - cytokinesis

The three stages of the cell cycle?

1. Interphase is the period between divisions when nothing seems to be happening. 2. Nuclear Division is when the genetic material is dividing and you can see the chromosomes. As you know eukaryotic cells have two types of nuclear division - mitosis and meiosis. Therefore this is often called M phase. During M phase one mother nucleus becomes two daughter nuclei. 3. Cytokinesis divides the cytoplasm of the mother cell into two daughter cells and this is very obvious under the microscope. It is during cytokinesis that one mother cell becomes two daughter cells.

What are the stages of mitosis and cytokinesis?

Mitosis and cytokinesis are elements of cell division. Mitosis is the duplicated genome in the cell is divided into halves which are identical. Cytokinesis is the where the cytoplasm of the cell divides to form two daughter cells.

How many daughter cells are produced by a single mitotic cell cycle?

Cytokinesis is the splitting of thecytoplasm and this process starts in late Anaphase and completes in Telophase ( last stage) to produce two separate daughter cells.

What is after mitosis?

Cytokinisis :)It is the division of cytoplasm. It gives two separate cells
