cactus is the plant that can survive in a place with limited water supply
Desert plants (cacti for example)
A plant absorbs water through its roots, going up through the stem, to the rest of the plant. There are little openings in the leaves called "pores" which also absorb a bit of water and cells as well. -Hope this helped! Love, KOOKIE MONSTER
Thrips are particles that fly through the air alongside air particles, these are very harmful particles, if they touch plants, especially there leaves, then there is a more chance of a less - lasting life! So tips to give you too stop your plants from dying from this particle: 1. Water your plants at least once every two days, 2. Check them too make sure they are not dying, 3. If they are dying, water them at least once a day! I know your probably thinking how I know all this, but I am am an actual Botanist (in other words for people who are a bit dumb out there I study plants).
The low light intensity of the forest affects the growth of pine trees. The light intensity is an abiotic factor, the growth of pine trees is the biotic factor. This is your answer.
I am guessing a bit here, but sugar molecules are produced in plants and plants get their carbon atoms from carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere.

Plants make there own food because we will not always be there to give it to them. The plants have to survive. But actually, the plants don't really make -food- They get nutrients from the ground to help them grow. I hope this answered your question a little bit :)
Life depends upon water. Animals need to drink it, plants need to absorb it.
.....The Banana Plant....

All crops need water to survive, but there are a few that can survive a bit longer in times of dry weather. Among the types of plants that are least affected by droughts are olives. Olives can survive well in dry climates and through dry spells in the weather.
It rains in the desert, just not very often. So desert plants make every little bit if water that they get last until it rains again.
it depends what type of plant it is. If it is a flower and it is in the sun it would probably die. but if you keep the flower in shade and give it a tiny bit on sun AND lots of water it will be ok. Obviosly a cactus will be fine in the sun! Any other plants usualy CAN survive in summer but give them lots of shade still a bit of sun and lots of water:)
