Firstly there are two types of deserts - hot deserts (like the Sahara) and cold deserts (like Antarctica. Generally no plants are found in cold deserts.
Hot deserts on the other hand are inhospitable places in general for life, but there are plants which have manged to adapt to growing and reproducing under these conditions.
There are many deserts all over the world, most contain certain plant species that are native to that area, and are not found in other deserts - for example the barrel cactus is native to central American deserts and is not found naturally in African deserts.
This is a general list of plant materials that can be found in deserts, and is not specific to any in particular - some are true desert plants others are marginal desert plants:

Water lilies require a continuous supply of water to survive, and desert environments typically lack sufficient water for these plants to thrive. The low water availability in deserts would make it difficult for water lilies to establish and grow in the sandy soil.
North Africa has a harsh desert climate, with high temperatures, limited rainfall, and poor soil quality. These conditions make it difficult for many plants to thrive, limiting the diversity of plant species that can grow in the region. The plants that do survive in North Africa have adapted to these harsh conditions, such as cacti and other succulents that store water to survive in arid environments.
Common desert plants include cypress, olive, acacia and artemisia, doum palm, oleander, date palm, and thyme, while the common types of grasses include Eragrostis, Panicum, and Aristida. Vegetation growth is more concentrated in oases and along river beds.
Desert
one common adaptation of the root system of a desert plant is to grow very deep in the soil to collect moisture from depths that has not evaporated. another is to grow roots close to the surface but spread far out to collect as much moisture as possible from a larger surface area
There is no such desert named the "Safari Desert."

Yucca plants generally grow at a moderate pace compared to other desert plants. They are not the fastest-growing plants in the desert, but they are also not the slowest. Their growth rate can vary depending on the species and environmental conditions.
Most plants do not grow in the desert because of heat and lack of water. The ones that do like that type of environment.
Plants need more than light to grow, they also need water. The desert does not have sufficient water to support large plants except on an oasis.
In the Chihuahuan Desert - ocotillo, lechugilla, yuccas, mesquite.
A dry area where few plants grow is called a desert.
a desert oasis is a place where underground water flows and helps plants grow around it.
