The saddle joint is unique to humans and is located at the base of each thumb.

It allows the thumb to touch the pinky finger by crossing over the palm of the hand. This allows humans to produce fine movements including sewing, writing, portrait painting, and anything other type of movement where the hand grasps a tool or the object itself as in pottery or peeling an orange.

A saddle joint is a joint that the touching surfaces of two bones have both a concave and a convex curve, with the shapes of the two bones complementing the other and allowing a wide range of movement. The only saddle joint in the body is where thumb attaches to the hand.

its on the palm of the hand near the wrist just below the root of thumb formed from a carpel bone called Trapezium

At the base of your thumb. It attaches your thumb to the metacarpals that make up the body of your palm.
The saddle joint is a type of joint. The thumb joint (metacarpal to carpal bones) is an example of a saddle joint.
The first carpometacarpal joint of the thumb and wrist is an example of a saddle joint.
The only saddle joint of the human body is the carpometacarpal joint of the thumb. Also the patella sits on the knee like a saddle joint (even thought this articulation is not considered to be a joint).

A joint moves when acted upon by forces external to the joint. This is typically the action of pushing and pulling performed by tendons and muscles surrounding and attached to the bones terminating at the joint.

We humans have two saddle joints at the base of our thumbs, at the carpal metacarpal joint. This is where the carpal bone, called the trapezium and the first metacarpal bone form a joint. It can perform all movements in three planes of axis like an ellipsoidal joint, except rotation, as in a pivot joint.

The saddle joint is a type of synovial joint where one of the bones at the joint is shaped like a saddle and the other bone rests on it like a person riding a horse. The only examples are the first carpometacarpal joints.
