What do connective tissue muscle tissue and nervous tissue have in common?

they all make up parts of our body. i just figured that out myself. insert hand hitting head here.

Is smooth muscle a connective tissue type?

Muscle tissue and connective are different because muscular tissue is specialized for an ability to contract. Muscle cells are elongated and referred to as muscle fibers. When a stimulus is received at one end of a muscle cell, a wave of excitation is conducted through the entire cell so that all parts contract in harmony. There are three types of muscle cells: skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle tissue (Figure 5). Contractions of the skeletal muscles, which are attached to bones, cause the bones to move. Cardiac muscle contracts to force blood out of the heart and around the body. Smooth muscle can be found in several organs, including the digestive tract, reproductive organs, respiratory tract, and the lining of the bladder. Examples of smooth muscle activity are: contraction of the bladder to force urine out, peristaltic movement to move feces down the digestive system, and contraction of smooth muscle in the trachea and bronchi which decreases the size of the air passageway. Connective tissues are specialized to provide support and hold the body tissues together (I've, they connect). They contain more intracellular substances than the other tissues. A variety of connective tissues exist, including blood, bone and cartilage, adipose (fat), and the fibrous and areolar (loose) connective tissues that gives support to most organs (see Figure 3 and Figure 4). The blood and lymph vessels are immersed in the connective tissue media of the body. The blood-vascular system is a component of connective tissue. In addition to connecting the connective tissue plays a major role in protecting the body from outside invaders. The hematopoietic tissue is a form of connective tissue responsible for the manufacture of all the blood cells and immunological capability. Phagocytes are connective tissue cells and produce antibodies. Thus, if invading organisms or xenobiotics get through the epithelial protective barrier, it is the connective tissue that goes into action to defend against them.

Why is a muscle considered a tissue?

Muscle fiber (myofiber) is the cell, muscle tissue is the type of tissue, lots of muscle tissue and some connective tissue is a muscle organ, and those muscle organs are all parts of the muscle system. All have the same name but mean different types when it is clarified in to the anatomical units.

What are the smaller parts that make up muscule tissue?

Cells and fibers are the smaller parts that make up muscle tissue.

What type of tissue is the skeletal muscle?

Skeletal muscle is a striated muscle used to control movement of specific body parts

what makes muscle tissue different from other tissues?

Muscle tissue can stretch.

How many smooth muscles are in the human body?

Smooth muscle tissue isn't divided into specific muscles like skeletal muscle tissue is, but these organs have smooth muscle in them: Stomach Small intestine Large intestine Iris (of the eye) Arrector pili (responsible for goosebumps) Ureters Bladder Parts of the esophagus Blood vessels Bronchi and bronchioles (the airways in the lungs) Uterus

What tissue is responsible for transporting carbohydrates from leaves to other parts of the plant?

For tissue that is found in the leaves, transmembrane protein is responsible for transporting carbohydrates from leaves to various parts of the plant . Sugars are taken up by the transmembrane protein with the help of companion cells.
