There are several types of diseases that cause metallic body odor. These include Trimethylaminuria. Exposure to metal can cause a metallic body odor and even a zipper that is placed next to the skin will cause that area to smell like metal.
A tongue that is constantly peeling for almost no reason at all is called a geographical tongue. Geographic tongue is a harmless (benign) oral condition that gives your tongue a map-like, or geographic, appearance. The distinct look of geographic tongue occurs when parts of your tongue are missing the layer of small bumps called papillae. This causes irregularly shaped smooth, red patches to form on parts of your tongue, like a rash. Although geographic tongue may look alarming, it doesn't cause any health problems and isn't associated with infection or cancer. Geographic tongue is usually painless but can sometimes cause tongue discomfort and increased sensitivity to certain substances. Geographic tongue often heals in one area and then moves (migrates) to a different part of your tongue. Geographic tongue is also known as benign migratory glossitis. If you have further issues that are of concern please contact your doctor as soon as possible.
Black tongue can be a symptom of a condition called black hairy tongue, which is typically caused by an overgrowth of dead skin cells on the tongue's surface. It can also be a side effect of certain medications, poor oral hygiene, smoking, or chronic dry mouth. In some cases, black tongue can be an indication of more serious underlying health issues and should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.
A yellow coating on a child's tongue could indicate a buildup of bacteria, dehydration, or poor oral hygiene. It's recommended to consult a pediatrician or pediatric dentist for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
I'm a male and having the same problem whenever I take multivitamins. My tongue gets sore after a few days later. And now I'm taking vitamin C tablets and I get the same reaction. It's weird and I'm trying to find out why. Because I'm an Asian or Chinese, I was told that Western tablets is consider hot for your body (like when you eating something deep fried and you get it). I'm not sure that's the case. I told my friends about my tongue reaction after taking these tablets and they told me might be my body allergic to something in the tablets because Multi has a lot of vitamins and might be one of those cause it. I'm trying to figure out so I can avoid this problem and able to continue to take vitamins. Please advice thanks.

No prenatal vitamins do not cause you to miss your period - they are vitamins, thus have no influence on your menstrual cycle. Consider that if prenatal vitamins did cause you to miss your period (which would only happen if you missed ovulation) then they would prevent pregnancy, this work against those who were taking them!
Yes, penicillin (and related ampicillin, amoxicillin) can cause a metallic taste in the mouth; and after many days of cintinued use may cause a fungal overgrowth in the mouth of Candida, or thrush. This is usually treated by giving a nystatin swish and swallow after meals and at bedtime for about a week.
