Medicine, it can help us overcome diseases, and cure the uncurable. However, it can also be used to create super-viruses with the potential to wipe out the entire world population. It can be considered good, in the right hands (which in our days, there isn't any)
Agriculture, it's more commonly known as Genetically Engineering. Yes, it may help us produce more food to feed the world, since we can now modify the seeds to be 'disease-free' but again in doing so it could actually create a super-virus which could have the opposite effects and wipe out our food population. Also though the effects of eating genetically modified food over a long period of time is still unknown.
As for farming, it just creates a lot of controversary, whether or not GM crops are good or bad. And whether or not the public is willing to accept that the food they're eating has been tampered with by a guy in a white-coat.
In truth Bioltechnology is too big a subject to discuss on such small turns.
For me though it can be good and can be bad, it depends how they use or abuse it.
Biotechnology is the controlled manipulation of biological systems to harness useful products. Some advantages are drug production to cure diseases, environment clean-up and increase in economic output. Some disadvantages are loss of privacy, harmful chemicals and loss of biodiversity.
Advantages: Eubacteria play crucial roles in various ecosystems, such as nutrient recycling and nitrogen fixation. They are also used in biotechnology processes, like fermentation and bioremediation. Disadvantages: Some eubacteria can cause diseases in humans, animals, and plants. They can also contribute to food spoilage and contamination if not properly controlled.
Advantages: Ears help us sense sound and maintain balance, allowing for communication and awareness of our surroundings. Disadvantages: Ear-related health issues like infections or hearing loss can occur; they are also vulnerable to damage from loud noises or trauma.
Some advantages of biotechnology include improved crop yields, development of new medical treatments and drugs, production of renewable energy sources, and enhanced methods for cleaning up environmental pollution.
Advantage: Modern biotechnology allows for the development of advanced medical treatments, improved crop yields, and more efficient production processes. Disadvantage: Concerns about the ethical implications of genetic modification, potential environmental risks, and unequal access to the benefits of biotechnology are some of the disadvantages associated with modern biotechnology.
one of the advantages is that it can get much faster to the market and much fresher one disadvantage is that is costs a lot of money for the poor farmers

biotechnologies disadvantages are horses, dogs, bunnies, wolves, and crackers that are unsalted
The advantages of technology transfer is that China can mass produce United States nuclear apparatus and sell it back for cheaper prices. The main disadvantage is there are compromises to US security.
