∙ 12y agoIm 16 and my parathyroid gland doesnt work and it takes about 6 months to one year before your muscles start to cramp up and you black out alot. that when you got the the doctor and get calium through iv's for a couple of days then your good. And you don't die if you blow of going to the doctor you just will cramp up so much that u cant move.
