You will end up having constant muscle contraction in some places known as tetanus. If this continues for a longer time, you will have this constant contraction in the muscles of the larynx leading to hypoventilation, inability to breath, death.

Im 16 and my parathyroid gland doesnt work and it takes about 6 months to one year before your muscles start to cramp up and you black out alot. that when you got the the doctor and get calium through iv's for a couple of days then your good. And you don't die if you blow of going to the doctor you just will cramp up so much that u cant move.
