A solution which has a high concentration of a solute (example - glucose) will have a low water concentration. But when you look at pure water it has a high water concentration. So if a cell contains a high concentration of glucose and was placed in a pure water solution, water would simply move down its concentration gradient (going from high to low) which eventually causes the cell to swell.
I hope this helped :D
well it would be that their is an equal amount of solution inside and outside the cell. it is neither hypotonic or hypertonic. it is balanced or equal.
hypertonic
lysozyme will diffuse in to the cell
An organ transplant is when organs are taken out of human organ donors and placed into another human, but artificial organs are either grown in science labs from stem cells or electronic organs that are usually made of plastic or metal.
Nothing will happen... but when you put a drop of the vial in the phenolphthalein, the phenolphthalein will turn into pink... It was just an observation that I saw in our experiment this afternoon
do you go to UTAS? that is not an answer how is this going to help people ????
The beaker has a high chance of shattering.
beakers are not made of water, they are made of glass.
You need dayan 2 hours
A patato cube is placed in a beaker filled with hot salt water and another patato cube is placed in a beaker filled with cold salt water?
it would absorb more and more water until it will explode
The plant cell would shrink but remain its shape.
a tripod
the ink will mix with the entire water.Even though it is dense than water,it will mix with it
Hydrilla is an aquatic plant which means that it naturally grows in water. If one placed hydrilla twigs in a beaker of water, the twigs would begin to sprout roots and would eventually grow leaves if the environment was conducive to growth.

it would shrink in cold and expand in warm, if you really want to surprise your teacher say it has to do with particle theory
