I believe it's endocytosis, Because the cell takes in the food or the (transport) vesicles to grow " by the three types of endocytosis: Phagocytosis " Cellular eating " Pinocytosis " Cellular drinking " and " Receptor-mediated endocytosis "

And they will fuse with the plasma membrane and become part of it, so accordingly, the plasma membrane is expanding.

Explain intracellular digestion?

Endocytosis...you have to get the food in your body before you can digest it

Ribosomes-rough endoplasmic reticulum-vesicle-Golgi apparatus- vesicle- within the cell or outside the cell explain where in this pathway the process of exocytosis plays a role?

These are all organelles and all cellular organelles are located within the cell's cytoplasm which is located within the cell. Exocytosis is a process that occurs when vessicles bud off from the golgi apparatus (golgi body) and transport proteins or other cellular materials to the edge of the cell, where they fuse with the cell membrane and excrete the contents into the extracellular space (the space outside of the cell).

What is a model used to explain the components and properties of a plasma membrane?

Three types of active transport?

Active transport is the process of moving solutes against their electrochemical gradient. This is essential to maintain the intracellular ionic composition of cells and to import solutes that are at a lower concentration out side the cells and to import soultes that are at a lower concentrion outside the cell than inside. (i) Coupled transporters couple the uphill transport of one solute across the membrane to the downhill transport of another. (ii) ATP-driven pumps couple uphill transport to the hydrolysis of ATP. (iii) Light-driven pumps, which ae found mainly in bacterial cells, couple uphill transport to an input of energy from light.Your three types of Active Transport is therefore Coupled Transporters, ATP-driven pumps, and Light-driven pumps.

How does Oxygen cross cell membrane?

Oxygen and water molecules can penetrate the cell membrane due to small gaps that are created by the lipid molecules. Lipid molecules overlap each other which makes the gaps. The oxygen and water molecules then enter in the gaps. The cell membrane in this case is semi permeable.

Explain how endocytosis and exocytosis work?

Endocytosis is when the cell membrane engulfs a particle and brings it into the cell, forming a vesicle. Exocytosis is when particles are expelled, usually from the Golgi apparatus forming vesicles and having it fuse with the surface of the cell.

Explain how ice-wedging can weather a rock?

When a piece of ice is wedged into a rock, it expands (because water expands when it freezes). As the ice expands, cracks are formed in the rock.

What model is used to explain the componets and properties of plasma membrane?

The model used to explain the components and properties of the plasma membrane is called the fluid mosaic.

Explain the part played by the cell membrane in the movement of substances into and out of the cell?

The correct answer is diffusion. Diffusion is the process by which materials enter and leave a cell through the cell membrane.
