Carbon dioxide moves into the bloodstream through a process called diffusion. In the lungs, carbon dioxide from the body's tissues diffuses across the thin walls of the capillaries and into the alveoli, where it is exhaled out of the body when we breathe.
The way Vorticella reproduces is asexually. They use binary fission and split in half.
Gaseous waste is expelled from the body primarily through respiration. A process called gas exchange takes place in the lungs. With every breath we take, some quantity of the waste gases (like carbon dioxide, or CO2) in our blood is exchanged for oxygen (O2) in the air inspired. Note that anything else in the air that we inhale can be carried across and into the blood.
The voltage measured across a dry cell is the total voltage output of the cell, typically around 1.5 volts. When three bulbs are connected in series, the total voltage drop across the bulbs will be the same as the voltage output of the dry cell. So, the voltage measured across the dry cell is equal to the voltage drop measured across the three bulbs in series.
Approximately 21% of the air we breathe is oxygen. This concentration is consistent across most elevations and locations on Earth.
Pehaps because perimeter is not a word they normally come across.
Platyhelminthes breathe using their entire body. Being flat, oxygen diffuses quickly across the skin and to all parts of the body, so they don't need a blood circulatory or respiratory system.

I was cleaning out my refrigerator and came across some fruit salad that had begun to mold. I opened it, and I inhaled some of the mold powder. That was three days ago, and every morning since then when I wake up my chest is rattling. I sound like a veteran chain smoker. It has worried me, but I decided to take an expectorant. I hope it will go away! I am not sure what kind of mold it was, but it was greenish gray.
