Whenever I get really stressed out there is a straight line maybe a vein in my throat that goes up into my jaw that becomes very painful and almost numb. Could this be serious?

If the vein pops out when you are stressed, it may be a sign of high blood pressure. This could be serious and should be checked out by a physician.
