Yes, its is not your closed eyes that is the cause or need for sleep it is your body that needs the sleep - it may be a bit more difficult but eventually you would fall asleep.
The larynx is the voicebox. You can live without them. People that develop throat cancer sometimes need to get a hole drilled there so that they can talk. This procedure is a tracheostomy. Without a larynx, you can live but cannot talk without aid.
Life without food would be impossible as food provides the necessary nutrients and energy for our bodies to function. Without food, our bodies would quickly deteriorate and we would not be able to survive for long.
Some reptiles have a transparent scale called a spectacle that covers and protects their eyes while still allowing them to see, similar to snake eyelids.
Life without a brain would not be possible, as the brain controls all bodily functions, thoughts, and emotions. Without a brain, a person would not be able to think, feel, or make decisions, and would cease to exist.
Without tendons, you wouldn't be able to move your bones effectively. Tendons are crucial in connecting muscles to bones and transferring the force generated by the muscles. Without tendons, your muscles wouldn't be able to move your bones, leading to immobility and loss of function.
It's really difficult to tell, as fish do not have eyelids and thus need darkness to be able to sleep. They will probably be very still.
Fish are able to rest and effectively sleep, but they do not do it like most humans. Fish are able to effectively rest without closing their eyes (something most mammals can't do), which allows them wake up and to escape should something try to hunt them down outside of their active hours.
Yes, they are not like ours though. Parakeet eyelids are hidden in their heads (sorta) They are very thick so the light doen't get through as well. But if you keep a light on all night near the bird, it won't be able to sleep.
they should be able to sleep at about a month so that they can get used to there mom
Of course. He wouldn't be able to function without it.
would we be able to function in society without rules
because sleeping gives of energy. and energy makes us able to move and live. without sleeping, we would be dead because then we would not have to energy to move or breath.... i think.
One would put a baby in a cot bed to help them sleep once they are around 6 months old. The cot bed will allow them to sleep comfortably without the risk of them falling or being able to climb out of the bed.
If they fully slept, they would drown. Half of their brains sleep at any one time.
I doubt a human could do this. A horse has a mechanism in their legs that locks up their leg and allows them to sleep standing up without their legs crumpling under them. It also helps that they have four legs to stand on. A human would have to have supurb balance and be able to lock their legs up and keep them that way, even in their sleep.
i would be so scared i wouldn't even be able to sleep
What would happen is that we won't be able to see the stars or see the sunset. We would still be able to sleep I guess but you never know ^_^
