As far as I know, no owl has feathers on their feet, owls do have hairy feet, some much more hairy than others, these hairs or filoplumes serve two purposes, to insulate or keep the owls feet warm, but also to assist the owl to feel its prey once caught.

"Hawk" is a word which describes a large number of different Birds of Prey. Other groups are "Falcons", "Eagles", etc. Sometimes people use the word "hawk" to mean all birds of prey, but this is incorrect and can be very confusing!
