How do eagles feed their babies?

Usually by pulling strips of meat from their kill with the beak and then feeding it to the chicks.

When the chicks get older, the kill is pretty much dumped in the nest for the chicks to feed themselves.

From watching the video cam at Alcoa in Iowa and Decorah Iowa (sponsored by a wildlife group) both BALD EAGLE parents takke turns sitting on the nest and bringing food to the nest. they rip pieces and dangle it in front of the chicks and make them grab for the food - and they make sure all chicks get food. check the web site by searching Bald Eagle cam in Decorah Iowa. there is also a video link to a 1 hour program you can watch on line of the eagles building a nest and hatching the chicks.
