keep them busy! in the wild they fly over 50 miles a day in search of food. if you have them in a cage, you need to supply means of searching for food which should take up most of their day by supplying foraging toys. have lots of toys around to have them play with, rotate them in the cage often to keep them interested. also, interact with them, especially if you only have one. they are used to being in a flock together, it is in their nature to be social. if you only have one single bird, a lot of interaction is required.
