It depends on your area, and the breeders in your area. In the suburbs of Chicago they can go up to $900, but I think that is a ridiculous price. Beagles are pretty common, you could go to Petfinder.com and find one that you could adopt from a shelter for a much lower cost like $800 or $500.

Depending on where you buy a beagle from, the price can differ, but from an average breeder, they can be from around £650/$900 up to about £900/$1250, depending on bloodlines etc. For instance, my beagle was priced at £850/$1200. However, hybrids of the beagle can be much cheaper, and watch out for extremely low-priced beagles, from anything under £350/$500, as it is likely that the dog is either not a pedigree, or from a puppy farm, puppy supermarket or poor bloodline, for example one that contains a hereditary disease/disorder. *This may not seem cheap, but for a healthy, happy dog, it is best to buy from a breeder so that you can be completely sure on the background of the dog.

Well it kind of depends how old the dog is and where (what state) your in. my beagle cost around $600-$800 maybe but puppies are worth much more. Im sure if you adopt you can get a cheaper and better deal.
