Not when it's older than a youngster. Young budgies have black eyes and they are less muscular than adult budgies. But when budgie is about six months old, it looks and behaves like adult, and it's age is impossible to define. Colour doesn't matter.
if your budgie keeps leaving her chicks its probably because she is to young to breed. most breeders wait until their budgie is about one year old before they breed them. it is best to wait until your budgie is 18 months before breeding them
Well, If they were together so much, leave it for a while. Then in a few months get an identical budgie so that budgie doesn't get lonely.

Depends on the birds personality.....usually if a budgie is n't eating or drinking it can take up to about 3 months...... but if you have another budgie in the cage it will only take about 5 weeks........if a budgie is eating, drinking and playing it won't take more than 2 weeks.........Most budgies take 1 week to 1 month to be settled in their new home HINT: Keep the budgie company by playing with it or having another budgie in the cage if your too busy
All it means is that he/she is in breeding condition but he/she will have to be at least 12 months or older before ready, really its nothing to worry about.
well it depends on how old the new femal is. If he and her are the same age then they are suitable to mate but if she is very young, lets say a month - two months then keep them away from each other , we wouldn't want the fighting now would we. Budgies can learn to live together quite easily but it takes some time espacialy if the male you speak of has bonded to you. If you do not know the age of ur new budgie look at her head and if it is fully striped from the cere"the nostrils" back that's means she is 4 months or older. if it is a solid color and/ or fluffy than she is older and can mate
Please consult a Doctor's opinion on this matter.
this is a bit obvious init!! it takes around 10 years so that's about how long my ruler is
My bird is 13 months and is always in a moult. Get their wings clipped and never leave them on their own because they get scared and moody
Well, to be honest, my hair grew to my forehead in three months, and in six months it grew to be about ten inches or so. So about ten inches does your hair grow when you decide not to cut it for the approximate time of six months.
Typically around 3 to 4 months. How soon you show being pregnant depends on your body type, if you are very slim or extemely obese. For most people, by 5 months, it will become obvious to family, friends, strangers alike that you are pregnant.
