If they are in parts of the world that have seasons, they hatch in the spring. This gives the chicks time to develop before the next cold season. In places that stay warm year round, it can be anytime. Some species will have 2 or 3 hatches a year depending on type of bird, food supply, weather and availability of mates.
In summer

Two Eggs
Crocodilians nest once a year.
Anywhere from 10 weeks to 10 years though usually on the tenth year you know it is not going to hatch
all breeds of pigeons will lay two eggs at a time always being male and female when they hatch. it is very rare to get two females or two males from one set of eggs. the parents will lay a batch of two eggs a few times a year!!Wood-pigeons lay several clutches of two eggs per year from March to September
They could have egg all year round. The incubation period for common pigeons is 17 to 19 days. The female sits on the egg from late afternoon through the night until about 10AM. The male then takes over and does the day shift. Once the eggs hatch, both parents feed the young squabs.
