They might. Cockatiels don't have taboos like humans do, and they don't understand why inbreeding is bad. They just have their natural breeding impulses and will act on them with other birds, even if they are related, the same sex, or even different species. It's best to keep them in separate cages and always supervise them when they are out playing.
Cockatiels do not need anything to have a mate. Just put him/her in the cage with your cockatiel, however, if you want them to mate, they will not mate if you do not have a nesting box. In order to breed cockatiels, you will need a nesting box.
should be able to since they are both hook beacks
Small parrots don't do well with big ones, the African grey will become dominant, and it will act aggressively with the cockatiel. a cage is not a good idea no matter how big it is, only an aviary will be good enough to house them.
They will do both. Both. They will first mate, and then the female will kill the male.
I highly discourage it. Being near the washing machine that constantly goes on and off will stress your bird out. A stressed bird = an unhealthy bird. Also, say your cockatiel figures out how to get out of his cage; it could quickly turn tragic if he finds a way into the machine and traps himself there. :(
It is generally not advisable to house a cockatiel and a sun conure in the same cage. While both species are social and can enjoy each other's company, the sun conure is typically more dominant and can be aggressive, potentially harming the smaller cockatiel. If you decide to introduce them, it’s best to do so gradually and supervise their interactions closely. Ultimately, providing separate cages is the safest option to ensure both birds are happy and healthy.
you can't keep crickets in the same cage but ladybugs you can. if you don't want your crickets hoppin on your ladies. DONT PUT THEM TOGETHER No ,crickets cant live in the same cage cause they will mate and there will be something called a crick bug,or a lady crick.
Yes you could but they might not always get on. I have got a cockatiel. I did have another one but she died. :( Anyways , when I put my new cockatiel, Polo, in the cage the other cockatiel Biddy just hissed a bit and went to the other end of the cage. The sometimes used to fight but not dangerous fighting. Just bickering at each other. If they do start fighting and it could lead to... well, you know what I mean, you should move one out of the cage for a bit and maybe put them in another cage. Put the cages next to each other so they slowly get used to each other. That's what I did. Now Polo is lonely because Biddy died :( . anyways, hope that helped! xxx
it takes time you have to put the boy in the same cage as the girl wait about a week or 2 so they can get used to each other and the boy can get used to the cage then they will mate and it should be fine x
If your rat is freaking out, introduce a same sex cage mate because rats are highly social animals.
he is most conferable with his feeder. my budgie does the same with his bells because it is his favourite toy also sometimes if you watch them mate with something in/ outside the cage they will be embarrassed
Get a female mouse and male mouse, keep them in the same cage, they are likely to mate or breed if they're alone together.
