Some colt parts will interchange just in case you decide not to sell it. It was actually manufactured in the late 60s or early 70s. On the right side under the revolver it has a proof mark in roman numerals which tells the year it should also have 2 more proofs, pn under a star means black powder and the other is a small emblem under a star.
