Distilled Water
Before charging it.
Yes. Top up battery with clean water after charging only. Never top it up before beginning a charge.
Always water your battery after the cool down period. The best practice for conventional forklift batteries are - 8 WORKING HOURS, 8 HOURS OF CHARGE, & 8 HOURS COOL DOWN. Water the batter prior to use; if required.
If the battery has caps and is not sealed check the level of the electrolyte. If it is low add only distilled water.
I have that problem check the water level of your battery, i find if i top up battery water, the flashing stops.
If it is a high pitch noise and the tractor does not start, your battery might be too weak. Check the water level in the battery.
one that is completely sealed, you are unable to check water level
You should unscrew the caps on the battery top surface, use a flash light and make sure the water level at all cells are 1/2 inche above the electrodes plates heights/ repeat every 6 month or any time the car is servicex at a garage/
The correct time to add water to a battery is when the electrolyte level is low, typically after the battery has been fully charged. It's important to check the water level periodically, especially in lead-acid batteries, as they can lose water during the charging process. Always use distilled water to refill, and avoid overfilling to prevent spillage and potential damage.
If the specific gravity of a forklift battery is not increasing, it may be due to a few reasons such as insufficient charging time, sulfation on the plates, or inadequate electrolyte levels. It is important to ensure that the battery is properly charged, water levels are maintained, and the battery is properly maintained to allow for proper specific gravity readings.
check battery if it has water and check the starter
