To get more information on renting jet skis you can either Google for a rental place or try classing an authorized dealer to see if they know anyone that rents jet skis. Wood's Boat House is located in Fairmont and would be a good place to start: www.woodsboathouse.com.
It doesn't do anything for performance. When you are in an ocean, though, you have to have them. It lets you know where people are if you can't see them because of the waves.
There are a number of places that rent jet skis here are a couple of websites - http://www.rentaltoys.com/lakepowell and http://www.powellzone.com/
Climb the lighthouse and ask the artist if you can look. (Once you see the seals on Seal-Saw Island, you can race Nate there on the jet skis.)
It is on top of the lighthouse. You can see Seal Island from there. But you can't go there until you recover the lobster trap for Cap'n Salty, who will give you the keys to his Jet Skis.

Not unless you are a ski racer yourself, and were lucky enough to get top of the line equipment. World Cup skiers get the best race skis that their factory makes. They have many different pairs of the same type (downhill skis, for example) that they will test to see which are the fastest. Race skis are highly specialized and differ greatly from demo skis or skis that the public usually buys. You can see this reflected in the price. Race skis typically run $800-$1000 for the skis, not including bindings.
I've spoken to quite a few people who have bought used jet skis and trailers. In my experience, there is always at least a little. You always see a nicer jet ski and wish you had spent more or a cheaper jet ski and wish you hadn't spent as much. Or you see something else and wish you bought that instead. But when you're on the water, especially with friends and family enjoying the sun, riding and feeling the wind in you hair, you forget all that. It's those moments that make life worthwhile. You sure don't feel any remorse when that's happening. Until your engine blows up and it costs you $2,000 to fix it.
if ur doo doo comes out white, then u need 2 see a doctor, brah.
You can see it from the telescope on top of the lighthouse : it is on a seal island just offshore. (to the far right) To get the map, you will need to race Nate on the jet skis. (Move the seals to one side of the seesaw rock to get the map out.) (see related question)
