By popular definition, “Photography” is a noun, the art and science of creating pictures by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material or electronically by means of an image sensor. And photographs are the products of photography, images produced by a camera on light-sensitive material or electronic images. But we should understand that photography is an art and it needs a great deal to be called as an art. Photographs are not a lie as we see them actually. It is just that we are seeing the image which is created by the photographer instead of seeing the real thing which may not be captured by the lens. So, in short, photography is not a lie, but it needs a great deal to be called as an art.
James Nachtwey.
Traditional photography involves capturing images on film using a camera, while two-dimensional photography involves creating digital images using a computer or other electronic device. The key difference lies in the medium used to capture and store the images.

High key photography is a style that uses bright lighting to create a well-lit and evenly exposed image with minimal shadows. It typically features a light and airy feel with a predominantly white color palette. On the other hand, low key photography uses dark lighting to create a dramatic and moody image with strong contrasts and deep shadows. The key difference between the two styles lies in the overall lighting and mood they convey.
Alfred Stieglitz asserted that photography should embrace its inherent qualities, such as capturing light and reality, rather than imitating other art forms like painting. He believed that photography's strength lies in its ability to document the world authentically and evoke emotions through its unique perspective. This philosophy emphasized the importance of direct experience and the photographer's vision, advocating for photography as a legitimate art form in its own right.
