Depends on the company you work for. I sailed as a third engineer just 2 years ago and I earned US $65,000 per year.
LPG contains propane and butane LNG contains methane
The cost of a British Thermal Unit (BTU) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) varies based on market conditions, regional demand, and supply dynamics. As of late 2023, prices can fluctuate significantly, typically ranging from $4 to $10 per million BTUs, depending on the location and contract type. Factors such as geopolitical events, seasonal weather changes, and infrastructure capacity also influence LNG pricing. For the most accurate and current rates, consulting market reports or energy exchanges is advisable.
Heavy Fuel Oil is what if refereed to as the heavies, is the long chain hydrocarbons in crude that can not be distilled at 350 F. The products includes greases, waxes, plastics, asphalts, tar etc. The HFO can be further process to separate the different products or can be cracked, a process that breaks the long chain hydrocarbons in to shorter chain hydrocarbons and distilled into LNG, gasoline, diesel, kerosene etc.
Vacuum Insulated Cryogenic Storage Tanks and Cold Converter tanks are double walled tanks designed for efficient storage of LOX, LIN, LAR, LNG, LCO and other Cryogenic Liquids. for more information visit: cryogasindia
I don't know what you mean by s Indian, I assume you mean South and by Indian I assume you mean the country of India. Most likely there is no governmental specification for buried LNG line. There are 2 main ways to protect buried pipeline. By coatings or wraps Most major pipeline companies specify nominally 25 mils of an Epoxy classified as a FBE (fusion bonded epoxy) that works in conjunction with cathodic protection. Most pipes installed are shop coated with a powder and baked. Rehabilitation uses a liquid applied 2 component epoxy applied with either a plural component sprayer, cardtrigde sprayer for girth welds and small area (a pneumatic powered big caulk gun), or by hand (Poor quality finish - many holidays). The downside of coatings is that they cannot take temps above 450F depending on brand- but that is mostly applicable to crude. They may also fail earlier then wraps - will still have 50yrs+ if applied right. The upside of coatings - they fail safe - cathodic protection will let you know when the coatings have failed. Wraps are another way to go. Polyolefin, bituminous and others, but these are the most popular. Polyolefin upsides - stays pliable for 50yrs+ - newer technology then bituminous. Drawbacks- Does not work in conjunction with CP. No way to tell if they have failed. That is when you get explosions. Bituminous wraps - asphalt based wraps The upside of bituminous wraps. They are low cost for initial investment. The drawbacks of bituminous wraps. They are not fail safe (see above), they can become brittle in far less then 50yrs. Hope this helps
about a tenner i believe
A typical LNG (liquefied natural gas) tanker can carry between 125,000 to 266,000 cubic meters of LNG. The capacity varies based on the design and size of the vessel, with larger vessels, known as Q-Flex and Q-Max tankers, having capacities on the higher end. For example, a Q-Max tanker can hold up to about 266,000 cubic meters of LNG. This translates to roughly 90 million to 170 million British thermal units (BTUs) of energy, depending on the specific energy content of the gas.
Anyhere between US Dollars 11000 to 25000 depending upon your experience & the company.
LNG stands for liquefied natural gas, which is natural gas that has been cooled to -260°F, turning it into a liquid for easier storage and transportation. LNG is typically transported via special cryogenic tanker ships specifically designed to keep the LNG at its extremely low temperature during transit. Once at its destination, the LNG is regasified and transported via pipelines for distribution to end users.
Yes, it becomes liquefied natural gas (LNG) and is frequently transported by tanker trucks in this form.
My salary is tax free and I'm the Captain of an LNG vessel. My salary is £138,000. Hope this helps.

LNG can be used in diesel engines. UPS is using Kenworth manufactured trucks that use primarily LNG for their long haul routes. LNG is cryogenics and requires special storage and handling.
Dapeng LNG terminal was created in 2004.
