The pressure Equipment Directive is a European Directive intended for all member states of the EU. European directives are extremely difficult to police and enforce, so they are simply a directive which the respective governments must adhere to. It was initially intended to ensure a common standard of manufacturing safety and workmanship control, by stipulating design documentation, testing, material control and traceability, and inspection requirements during construction and fabrication of pressure equipment. By doing so, the standard and safety of pressure equipment across the boundaries of EU states, became more uniform, hence it resulted in a virtual removal of trade barriers. The Pressure Equipment Regulations are a means of an individual state (in this case UK) of legally enforcing the requirements of the PED.
The density of a compressible fluid changes with pressure, while the density of an incompressible fluid is not affected by pressure (assuming isothermal conditions).
I think a vessel is containing a fluid under high pressure whereas a drum contain a fluid with no or low pressure.
Retrievable corrosion probes is meant for high pressure (3600 to 6000 psig). Retractable corrosion probes is meant for pressure about 1500 psig.
Supplier: Look for suppliers that specialize in providing gases and equipment for home brewing or beverage dispensing. They should be able to guide you on the appropriate size and type of nitrogen cylinder for your needs. Cylinder Size: Typically, nitrogen cylinders for home use come in smaller sizes suitable for home brewers. The size you choose will depend on the volume of beverages you plan to dispense and how often you will use it. Safety and Handling: It's important to follow safety guidelines for handling compressed gases. Always store and handle the nitrogen cylinder in a well-ventilated area, away from heat or flames, and secure it in an upright position. Regulator and Dispensing Equipment: You'll also need a nitrogen regulator and appropriate dispensing equipment that connects to the nitrogen cylinder and allows you to control the pressure and flow of nitrogen into your beverages. Local Regulations and Laws: Be aware of any local regulations or requirements related to the purchase, storage, or usage of compressed gases like nitrogen.
ASTM A105 - For ambient- and higher-temperature service in pressure systems. ASTM A350 - intended primarily for low-temperature service and requiring notch toughness testing.
Pressure Equipment Directive happened in 1997.
weight
It depends on which Directive the vessel has to be compliant with. For instance, to comply with CE/PED, the test pressure shoud be 1.43 times the maximum operating pressure.
It is a difference in pressure
What are the names of some manufacturers of high pressure washing equipment? Either commercial or consumer grade equipment is ok.

The difference between pressure and non pressure part
Generally oil safety switches sense the oil pressure. If there is no preset pressure then the oil safety switch acts (to switch off or cut off the device) For an equipment that needs to be protected against the low oil pressure, such switches are used. when the equipment is standstill (or not running) then the oil pressure is also zero. When the equipment starts running, during the initial few seconds the oil pressure builds up from zero to required pressure. The timer is required not to cut off the equipment control in this initial few seconds. Control system waits for few seconds allowing the pressure to build up and after the preset time, if the pressure does not build up then it switches off the equipment since running the equipment with oil pressure is not good for the equipment.

A pressure gauge indicates actual pressure and a differential pressure gauge indicates the difference in pressure.
