I think because it works more like a heat exchanger taking heat from the exhaust gas, rather than a "standard" boiler with a furnace?
An EGB needs a pump to circulate the water through the pipes in the exhaust stack, whereas a furnace-heated boiler can use convection to move the fluid through the system..?
Might have something to do with lower temperatures in an EGB?
In boiler feed water line the NRV is normally installed between Pump and stop valve if the line is short and an another NRV is installed at boiler entrance and after stop valve if the line is long or pump is 10 to 15 m away from the boiler.
Function - It adds the pressure to the feed water before it entyers into boiler feed pump suction Advantage - Ensures high margin NPSH A for boiler feed pump spinning at high rpm (5250Rpm) Drive for booster - Normally @1450 rpm Type of impeller- Mostly preferred Double suction
Pump it in while it is circulating and continually test the freeze point of the mix. If you make it too thick the solution will lose it`s heat transfer properties reducing system capacity. +10F is usually ok.
The plate heat exchanger is used in multiple systems in the field of HVAC, including geothermal water heating systems, instantaneous domestic hot water systems, semi-instantaneous domestic hot water systems, swimming pool constant temperature maintenance systems, solar hot water systems, etc.Plate heat exchanger systems provide plate heat exchanger designs for each application:1. Geothermal water heating system: The heat exchanger acts as a separate device for the host of the heat pump and the open cold and heat source, which overcomes the corrosion of sensitive equipment such as the host by water quality.2. Domestic hot water system: The good heat transfer performance makes the plate heat exchanger gradually replace the traditional container heating system, with a smaller area and more economical investment.Instantaneous domestic hot water system-to ensure that users have hot water supply anytime, anywhere, compact system, no storage tank required, large boiler capacity required, large heat exchanger Semi-instantaneous domestic hot water system—requires smaller boiler capacity, smaller heat exchanger, easy to grow bacteria in the storage tank, and requires additional places for the storage tank.3. Swimming pool constant temperature maintenance system: Install a heat exchanger to make the pool water circulate independently. In order to avoid the corrosion of the plate by the chloride ion in the pool water, please choose the plate material carefully.4. Solar hot water system: As one of the clean energy sources, solar energy has attracted more and more attention. By using a heat exchanger, the loop for collecting solar energy and the loop for domestic hot water can be separated, thereby effectively protecting it. The stroke length of a pump is the distance it travels up before it travels down. The distance traveling up takes in air or water depending on the type of pump. The down pressure expels the air or water.
By measuring outlet temperature of water at downstream of pump and upstream of boiler.
The boiler feed pump pumps hot feedwater into the boiler. The boiler pressure is to high for water to flow into it by gravity, so a pump is required.
A boiler with a circulating pump and pipes to convey heating water around a house, through radiators or underfloor pipes.
A circulating pump, often referred to as a hot water circulation pump, is an essential component in maintaining the consistent flow of hot water within a heating system. This pump operates by pushing hot water from the boiler through the piping system to radiators, taps, or other fixtures. As the water cools down after use, it returns to the boiler to be reheated. This closed-loop process ensures that hot water is readily available where and when it's needed, minimizing waste and enhancing energy efficiency. The hot water circulation pump also helps to eliminate delays in water heating, providing convenience and reducing water wastage. This makes it a crucial element for both residential and commercial heating systems. Outdoor Boiler systems rely on efficient components like circulating pumps to ensure consistent heat delivery. This means a reliable and energy-efficient solution for your heating needs.
A digester feed pump forces water to a boiler. It works by transferring cool water to the boiler to be heated.
If the pump is not circulating coolant insure that the thermostat is not stuck closed. If the thermostat is ok then the pump will have to be replaced.

Boiler feed pumps are an important part of any boiler operation. They control the amount of water fed to the boiler and the manner in which it is fed.
Water pump shaft loose? Water pump leaking? Water circulating in coolant system?

Conduction of heat energy from the source to the water in the boiler. A pump moves the hot water to the radiator. The heat radiates out from the radiator to the air, where convection then circulates it through the room.
