To remove orange stains from your carpet caused by a mixture of bleach and urine, you can try using a mixture of water and white vinegar to blot the affected area. Alternatively, you can use a carpet cleaner specifically designed for removing tough stains. Test any solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet first to ensure it doesn't cause further damage.

I used chlorine bleach on white clothes that were supposed to be washed with non-chlorine bleach. They turned yellow. How do you make them white again?

Try using oxy clean powder this may work. I tried oycy clean and it did not work. I used "YELLOW OUT" It is a powder that comes in a plastic 1 lb. 2 oz. container. Most likely I bought it at WalMart, not sure. It worked on a cotton-polyester top that I bleached by mistake, which then turned it a tannish/yellow. I followed the directions on the back of the YELLOW OUT container; soak in a gallon of water with 1/2 cup of YELLOW OUT for 20 minutes and then wash with detergent not containing any peroxide or bleach (use color safe detergent) The top came out bright white!

Is Bleach mixed with water that has turned brown dangerous?

Yes, mixing bleach with brown water can potentially be dangerous. Brown water could contain organic matter that reacts with the bleach to produce harmful fumes like chlorine gas. It's best to avoid mixing bleach with discolored water and to properly ventilate the area if accidental mixing occurs.

How do you get clothes white again that have turned yellow from age?

To whiten yellowed clothes, soak them in a solution of water and oxygen-based bleach or distilled white vinegar. Alternatively, you can wash them with a laundry detergent that contains optical brighteners. Avoid using chlorine bleach as it can worsen the yellowing.

What to do if you wipe your white shoes with bleach and they turn yellow?

If you accidentally turned your white shoes yellow with bleach, try using a mixture of water and white vinegar to gently clean the affected areas. You can also try applying a paste of baking soda and water, leaving it on for a few hours, then rinsing it off. Lastly, using a white shoe polish or a professional cleaner for white shoes may help restore their color.

How do you get the white part of a red and white jacket back to white once it has turned pink?

DON'T PUT IT IN THE DRYER that will "set" the bledding color! immediately put it back in the washer with a cup of white vinegar. that will lift the bleeding color but not fade the red. If you already put it in the dryer and "set" the bledding color, try using bleach to get the pink out, but don't get it on the red part. THat would turn the red white.

What will happpen to iron nails in bleach?

I did an experiment on this in 4th grade. When I put iron nails in bleach, the nails turned a reddish hue at first, then faded to a brown. This is because of oxidation. The bleach stimulates the ions in the iron, causing them to swirl in a circular motion, thus creating the reddish brown color.
