Air, like any other gas, has volume. When you blow air into a balloon, the air takes the shape of the balloon. If more air is blown in, the balloon becomes larger as the volume of the air is increased. If some of the air is released, the balloon becomes smaller as the volume of the air is decreased.

Because its made of particles

*****************

Because it consists of matter. One cubit meter of air weighs about 1 and a 1/4 kilo's. Try this experiment. Have an empty can with a scew lid. Light a piece of paper and put it in the can then quickly tighten down the scew cap. The fire will burn up all the air in the can. This will cause a partial vacuum inside the can. You will then see that the air on the outside of the can trying to replace the missing air. It will do this by crushing the can to the amount of air lost inside the can. This then proves that air has weight.

You may ask why does not the outside air crush us as the only air we have is in our lungs? Our body is full of air and it equals the same pressure as the outside air ballancing everything.

air does does not have mass. It does not have volume or density. Some people say that air is real and has molecules in it. They think that there is oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, argon, neon, helium, kryptonite and xenon floating in the air. In fact the total molecular mass of air is 293.19. But the thing is, AIR IS NOT REAL.

Yes it does. We are use to it so we don't notice, but we actually are supporting a large amount of weight on our bodies from air pressure all the time.

No, pressure is a measure of the force that air is putting on an object, not a mass. The air itself has mass, but not the pressure.

It is not true. Air is matter in a gaseous form.
