Silver purity is typically measured in terms of fineness, not carats like gold. The most common levels of silver purity are sterling silver (92.5% pure silver) and fine silver (99.9% pure silver). Other levels of purity may exist based on specific manufacturing needs or regional standards.
Sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver, also called fine silver, contains 99.9% silver and is softer than sterling silver, making it less commonly used for functional items.
80% pure silver and 20% other alloys. It makes for a more durable product. Sterling Silver is .925 ie 92.5% silver and 7.5% other alloy. 0.800 silver is the lowest percentage mix that can be called 'Silver'
Are you sure it is a "d" and not a "p"? Because a "p" would mean that it was "plumb" gold, or in other words, the gold it contained was exactly the carat listed. IE: 14K does not have to contain 14carats of gold, only a certain percentage has to be 14%.
Gold is an element. Although, 10k of gollg s not pure gold. Other elements are mixed in with it( ie. copper).
Silver ions could be detected with the use of a silver ion selective electrode, mass spectrometry, or using certain chemical reactions (ie precipitation when a source of chloride ions is added, complexation using ammonia, etc).
1 part silver, 2 parts copper ( ie .333 )

At normal conditions (temperature, volume and pressure) silve is a solid. It is melted into a liquid to mould it into different shapes ie rings.
Pure gold is 24 carats. 22 carats is 91.6% ie 22/24. Another method of describing gold is by the Fineness, which is given in parts per 1000, hence 916.6 for 22 carat. I assume 91.3% is a typo.
Yes, but a year would helpful to say for sure. IE: the 1917 and 1944 Liberty Dimes have both silver and Mercury. Although all others I have seen are silver.
no
if you mean dichroic? it is precious metals ie gold or silver, contained in art glass.

No, Internet Explorer (IE) was created by Microsoft, and Firefox was created by Mozilla. They are two different companies.
it means that the 14k gold is bonded to another base metal, ie: silver
