Looking at the Periodic Table, the Atomic Mass of sodium is 23 and chlorine is 35. Two moles of sodium is 46, and diatomic chlorine is 70. That adds up to 116. Now look at salt. One sodium and one chlorine add up to 58. Double it because your molar coefficient is 2, and you get 116. 116=116, so this once again proves the law true.
