The Vmax would be the highest rate, when the enzyme is fully saturated. So as you increase substrate the Vmax will increase to a certain point (Vmax). Beyond that point, no matter how much substrate you add the Vmax will not increase.

What is Km in an enzyme?

The Michaelis constant (Km) is a means of characterising an enzyme's affinity for a substrate. The Km in an enzymatic reaction is the substrate concentration at which the reaction rate is half its maximum speed. Thus, a low Km value means that the enzyme has a high affinity for the substrate (as a "little" substrate is enough to run the reaction at half its max speed). This is only true for reactions where substrate is limiting and the enzyme is NOT allosteric.

What are the factors that affect endpoint sharpness of an acid-base titration?

There are two major factors that affect the endpoint sharpness or the sharpness of the break. 1.) The concentrations of your two reactants (the analyte and the titrant). As their relative concentrations increase, we see a sharper end point. As the concentrations decrease, the endpoint becomes more difficult to discern.2.) The dissociation constant will play a role in the sharpness as well. The higher the dissociation value (K value) then the sharper the end point. If the dissociation value is relatively low, then you will not see a sudden or sharp endpoint.

What is the fix pH of HCL and HNO3?

The pH value of those solutions depends on the concentration and the temperature. Generally, solutions with higher concentrations of acids have lower pH values.

If a reaction vessel initially contains only co and NH3 at concentrations of 1.00 m and 2.00 m respectively what will the concentration of HCONH2 be at equilibrium?

You need the k value to solve this.

What is definition of pka value and difference between pH and pKa?

A pKa value is a measurement used for bases and acids. The measurement pH applies to hydronium ion concentrations that are in a solution, whereas pKa only applies to determining the amount of dissociation an acid wants to do in a solution.

How do you calculate Michaelis Menten constant?

The Michaelis-Menten constant (Km) is calculated by determining the substrate concentration at half of the maximum reaction rate (Vmax). This value can be obtained by plotting reaction rates against substrate concentrations and identifying the point where the reaction rate is half of Vmax. Km represents the affinity of the enzyme for its substrate.

What are two different ways to estimate 929910?

You have the exact value of 929910. So why try to estimate it?

What is Michaels constant?

It is substrate concentration at which velocity approches one half of its maximal value.

What does it mean when an enzyme has a low value for its Michaelis constant?

It indicates that the enzyme has a high affinity for the substrate.

How do you write an estimate range?

Estimate the minimum value, A. Estimate the maximum value, B. The estimated range is from A to B.

What is the trade-in value of Pokemon Pearl?

The trade-in value of Pokemon Pearl varies in different stores. An estimate would be no more than 10 dollars, in the United States.

What is the estimate of 11568?

If you have the exact value, why do you need to estimate!

How do you calculate vmax value?

The Vmax value in enzyme kinetics is determined by measuring the initial rate of reaction at varying substrate concentrations and plotting them on a graph. The Vmax is the maximum velocity achieved by the enzyme when it is saturated with substrate. It is typically determined by extrapolating the initial velocity data to when the enzyme is fully saturated with substrate.

How can estimation help to decide if answer to multiplication problem makes sense?

If the estimated value is very different from the calculated value then the answer is wrong. Unfortunately, it does not work the other way. An estimate can be close to the calculated value but the answer can still be wrong.

Daisy has made over a hundred different models sense it started in 1898. which model are you asking about? You will also need to state the condition of the airgun for an estimate of value.
